With BlasterX Acoustic Engine technology and a Dolby Digital 5.1 decoder, the Katana soundbar delivers realistic audio for games and movies. This new audio system perfectly combines the most powerful 24-bit DAC and an advanced speaker system with five drivers. Featuring a tri-amplification design, each of the five drivers is individually powered by DSP-controlled amplifiers, delivering precise sound across the spectrum. With numerous connection options, the Katana is one of the most versatile and powerful speaker systems for computers.

The Katana soundbar can be easily mounted under a monitor or TV. At just under 60 mm thick, the Under Monitor Audio System design is far superior and more functional than regular „gaming soundbars.” It fits perfectly into any setup, especially for multi-monitor PCs and gaming consoles.

The Katana soundbar features Aurora Reactive lighting — a row of 49 programmable LED lights along its edge. Like Japanese katanas, each with a unique blade pattern (hamon), the Aurora Reactive system allows you to customize ambient lighting uniquely, with support for 16.8 million colors.

The Katana soundbar includes five drivers: two upward-firing midrange drivers, two high-excursion tweeters, and one standalone subwoofer with a high-excursion driver. Each is housed in its own chamber and powered by DSP-controlled amplifiers, ensuring incredible audio precision.

Beyond Tri-Amplified support, the multi-core SB-Axx1 DSP provides lossless 24-bit playback, filling the room with crystal-clear sound. The SB-Axx1 is also a certified Dolby Digital decoder, converting analog (stereo or 5.1) signals from optical sources into 5.1 configurations at up to 96 kHz and 24 bits.

When connected to a PC via USB, the Katana soundbar functions as a sound card with support for 7.1 virtual signals, offering realistic effects and sounds in games with near-perfect precision and orientation.
