The Tough Armor case series by Spigen is an enhanced version of its predecessor. Its two-part construction is made of abrasion-resistant thermoplastic and a reinforcing polycarbonate frame. Inside the case, there is a filling of technological foam, which provides an additional protective layer against impacts or device drops.

The slightly raised form of the case around the camera and screen protects them from scratches by lifting the phone just above flat surfaces. It has button covers and cutouts for ports. Tough Armor is a case that has undergone performance drop tests, 26 times from a height of up to 1.2m, thus receiving the American military certification MIL-STD 810G-516.6.
