TP-Link MC210CS Gigabit Ethernet media converter
Media Converter MC210CS allows bi-directional conversion of 1000BASE-LX optical signal to a signal conducted with 1000Base-T copper cable. Designed according to IEEE802.3ab 1000Base-T and IEEE802.3z 1000Base-LX/LH standards. The MC210CS converter is designed for use with a single-mode fiber optic cable using a SC type connector. It supports the specification of Long-term laser (LX) at full transmission speed during wired data transmission. The device operates at a wavelength of 1310 nm, both for transmitting and receiving data.
Free-standing converter with LED indicators
The MC210CS can work as a free-standing device or be mounted in a 19′ TP-LINK cabinet.
Port TX has automatic crossover function (Auto MDI/MDI-X). On the front panel there are LED indicators informing about the status of the device. The MC210CS, using multi-mode optical fiber, transmits an optical signal over a distance of 15 km.
