The Tough Armor series case from Spigen is an enhanced version of its predecessor. Its two-piece construction is made of abrasion-resistant thermoplastic material and a reinforced polycarbonate frame. Inside the case, there is a foam filling that provides an additional protective layer against impacts and device drops. The slightly raised case design around the camera and screen protects it from scratches by lifting the phone slightly above flat surfaces. It has button covers and precise cutouts for ports.

The Tough Armor case has undergone rigorous drop tests 26 times from a height of up to 1.2 meters, earning the American military certification MIL-STD 810G-516.6.
