Extralink 48 V 24 Watt Gigabit PoE Power Supply.

The Extralink PoE power adapter (power adapter) supplies power through selected strands of twisted-pair cable to network devices such as media converters, access points, cameras, etc. The 48V 0.5A PoE power adapter enables Gigabit Ethernet network data transmission while providing power over a single cable. This model allows transmission at Gigagbit Ethernet speeds, is a Passive PoE solution and is not compliant with the IEEE 8023af/at standard. Unlike power supplies with a 5.5/2.1mm jack connector, the presented device allows you to directly power Gigabit PoE devices without additional network accessories.

The power supply with two RJ45 ports is equipped with a 1.2-meter long power cable terminated with a cloverleaf connector. One port is connected to the device to be powered, and the other socket is used to connect a switch or router with a patchcord. The device can be mounted in residential or tele-technical rooms or in racks.

The LED indicates the correct operation of the device. If one of the protections, short-circuit or overload, is triggered, the power supply cuts off the voltage to the device. After the failure ceases, the voltage is restored automatically.
