Extralink PoE (power adapter) provides power through selected strands of twisted-pair cable to network devices such as media converters, access points, cameras, etc. The 24V, 1A PoE power adapter transmits network data and supplies power through a single cable, and with passive PoE, it enables Gigabit Ethernet transmission speeds. It is not compatible with the IEEE 8023at/af standard.
The presented PoE adapter, unlike power supplies with a 5.5/2.1 mm jack connector, allows you to directly power Gigabit PoE devices without using additional network accessories.

The device is equipped with a 1.2-meter long power cable terminated with a cloverleaf connector, and two RJ45 ports. One port is used to connect the device to be powered, and the other port is used to connect a switch or router with a patchcord. The power supply can be installed in residential and telecommunications rooms, and is also suitable for rack mounting.

An LED indicates proper operation of the device. If one of the available protections, i.e. short-circuit or overload, is triggered, the AC adapter cuts off the voltage from the device, which it restores automatically after the failure ceases.
